Symposium in Medieval Coinage
at the Leeds International Medieval Congress,
SMC @ IMC Wednesday 13th July 2011

The 2011 Leeds International Medieval Congress takes place from July 11-14 and, with its theme of Poor . . . Rich, includes a medieval coinage symposium, SMC @ IMC, covering the medieval period from 973 to c.1500. This will be held on Wednesday 13th July and includes four full sessions with three 20-minute speaker in each and a lunchtine keynote session featuring Nick Mayhew, Senior Curator of the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. These address broadly-based papers on numismatic topics and monetary history. The full programme is attached.
